So, I feel like I could perform a LOT more better if I put more effort into my work. If you don't strive to do your best, and work harder to become even better, then you will always remain mediocre. For some people, that's great; keeping their art as a recreational thinng. For me, though, art is much more important. And I want to start putting more effort into it. I want to learn new methods, new styles, new techniques, etc. I want to be known for my artwork. I want people to look at what I make and say, "Wow!" I'm tired of being mediocre-- it's time to step it up a notch.
With that being said, I have a new goal: to do at least one great, effort-filled, time-consuming piece of art each week. And I'll post it on here for people to see. I want people to criticize my work, tell me what is good and bad, what I could change, what looks great, and what I could try (such as new techniques). Give a fellow artist a hand, and I can lend a hand as well.
Ciao!
